In January 2016 Vaccine Network for Disease Control was present as Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation Launched NIFT (Nigeria Immunization Financing Task Team. The main aim is for them to advocate for Federal and State Government to support vaccines as GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization) funding reduces.


WAVA (Women Advocates for Vaccine Access). Is a coalition of different NGO’s headed by women fighting for the same course. The coalition was launched early 2015. The main aim of the coalition is to train women to be advocate for vaccine access.

Vaccine Network supported Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in February of 2011 in routine immunization exercise by monitoring, in their bid to immunize children in the various settlements for Measles and Polio. According to the AMAC statistics, 441 children were immunized in Damangaza Angwan Hausa settlement alone.
